Friday continued yesterday’s sunny, warm, breezy at times conditions. Seasonally warm temperatures with only scattered cumulus clouds at times with highs in the upper 70s dominated the daylight hours, with once again no rain at all. At about 0545 we have partly cloudy skies with temperatures in the mid 50s to around 60° in elevated locations like my station and the USG station.  The minimum temperature (59.1°) was recorded at 0637 and the maximum temperature (77.9°) was recorded at 1545….

Thursday was the start of June and it was a sunny, warm, dry beginning to this first summer month. Also today is the opening of the 2017 Atlantic Hurricane Season. Sunny skies and seasonally warm temperatures with highs in the upper 70s dominated the daylight hours, with no rain at all. Wednesday finished out May and started with fog as it has the previous 3 days along with low clouds. Partly cloudy skies and warmer temperatures with highs in the low 80s followed, then a very brief but intense light thundershower (gusty winds particularly – I caught winds gusting from the SW at 34 MPH sometime on Wednesday) in the early evening) (0.08″ – with 1.07″/hour max rain rate recorded at 1744) Clearing skies thereafter, cooling off into the late evening…

Tuesday started out with fog as it has the previous 2 days, with low clouds and light showers (0.10″) later in the afternoon and evening with cooler temperatures than yesterday with temps and dew points mostly in the 60s all day. I just signed in successfully without too much problem, but the instructions thereafter was confusing as expected but I think I got through it. Currently I have cloudy skies with fog, a temperature of 64.5° and dew point temperature of 64°,  barometric pressure of 30.03″ and steady, Rel Hum 97%.
