Wednesday was a partly cloudy, cold, and blustery day in the AM and early PM, then I had increasing clouds in the mid-afternoon and lessening winds brought on by more clipper action that was mostly active to the north in PA, OH, NJ and NY and near the MD/PA border with light snow showers and flurries in the evening. Tuesday was a partly to mostly sunny, snowless day that started out mild but temperatures started to drop significantly in the afternoon and evening with significant wind chills heading towards the 0 mark. Tuesday temperature changes were quite dynamic starting out mild and then dropping all afternoon into the evening, then flattening out overnight in the low 20s. Winds really picked up after the frontal passage, and wind chills dropped towards the 0 mark by the end of the day….

Monday was a mostly to partly cloudy, milder, snowless day that actually saw the snowpack vanish (see featured image) as temps rose into the mid 40s and mins stayed above freezing. Sunday was a cloudy, cold, snowless day that saw the snowpack reduce a bit under the still surprisingly powerful sun’s rays under the cloudy skies. Sunday temperatures dropped very early in the AM into the upper mid 20s, then rising into the low 30s by sunrise, and peaking out in the upper 30s by mid-afternoon.
