Monday started out cloudy before sunrise with a bit of leftover light rain, then mostly cloudy, very warm  and quite humid, but cleared up in the evening as cooler, drier air started to move in. Saturday started out calm and partly cloudy, but clouded up by mid-day with a couple of periods of thunderstormy, wet and cooling periods during the afternoon (1400-1430) and evening (after 1600) which yielded 1.16″ of rain for the day. The max rain rate was a significant 2.62″/hour at 1409. Thunder was frequent during these wet periods, and my NOAA weather radio went off many times.
