Tuesday was a partly sunny, very warm, dry but more humid day that continued our week of heat and high dew points with the usual discomfort. The temperatures rose up into the upper 80s similar to yesterday after lows in the low 70s during the early AM hours. Friday was cloudy in the morning and slightly wet (0.17″) that turned partly cloudy and warmer in the afternoon, as temps rose up in the mid 80s after the usual muggy warm low 70s mins during the early AM hours. Thursday was cloudy and wet (0.95″), particularly in the AM hours and an evening secondary max. Temperatures were surpressed from the clouds and rain. July started out with an interesting Saturday. The day started out cloudy with a low stratocumulus deck hiding the sunrise with temperatures in the humid mid 70s. By late morning skies at least partially cleared and temperatures climbed through the muggy, unstable air to the 90° level as happens typically in early July in this area. Storm passed through here today from 1500-1530. No funnel clouds here, but strong winds and heavy rain at times during that time period. Visibility reduced to less than 1/4 mile during height of intensity. Got 1.11″ of rain out of storm. Pictures were looking to the SE from my apt window at about 1700, long after the storms passed through here. Storm clouds were over southern Maryland about 50 miles away at the time of the photo. 

Friday started out partly cloudy and somewhat muggy, heating up significantly up into the lower 90s in the afternoon under the hot sun, along with muggy dew points into the humid range. There was no rain once again today. High temperatures rose during the partly sunny afternoon into the lower 90s after a muggy early AM min in the upper 60s to low 70s.
