The heat and high dew points from July have left us as significant high heat continues to stay away so far in August. Dew point temps remained high during the first half of the period, peaking well into the 70s most days but lowered mostly into the low-mid 60s during the last half of this period.  This mid-month period’s rains (5.06″ total) generally were from the left over moisture from  Isaias’ visit back on August 4.
