Southern New England Weather Conference – Saturday, November 4, 2017

Since 2000, the Southern New England Weather Conference has provided a place for weather enthusiasts and professionals to gather and share their knowledge and expertise regarding topics such as winter weather forecasting, severe weather, hurricanes, advances in the science of meteorology, and emergency preparedness, as well as numerous other topics.

Here are the speaker bios and abstracts from all the presentations today: I am sorry I didn’t post this earlier. My good friends Dan Hanson and Marty Brumback will be in attendance and may have some interesting pictures I can post later from the conference. My greatest curiousity from the conference agenda is the one on glaciers.

  1. This is completely appropriate for the blog Kevin! The only thing I’d recommend is posting it a bit earlier so we can give other folks on social media the heads up, but it sounds like you are aware of that. Hope you have a great time, we have a similar conference up here in Seattle that I love to go to every year.

    1. Charlie – I am actually not at the conference myself, just reporting about it from my two friends attending and online from the conference location in Foxboro MA. I have already gotten a few pictures from the conference and will post them and hopefully others later. Thanks!
