I got up in the late afternoon as I got another good uninterrupted period of overnight sleep, complete with a wild dream about a long walk in the woods where I used to live, meeting up and walking with some people who I didn’t know, and then getting into a real mess crossing the train tracks that were flooded. I did catch up a bit on my words with friends games and checked on messages from bed before I got up. I took a shower, then started a dinner thereafter, which was really good – Mrs Paul’s Crab Cakes, baked in the oven with fresh squeezed lemon, plus cheddar broccoli rice a roni embellished with two big mushrooms (sliced), along with a big pile of cut green beans (microwaved). I also had regular low sodium V8 before dinner and a few triscuits and a klondike bar for dessert. I watched bit of baseball, hockey and wrestling action. I continued to work a bit more on the newly “hatched” Weatherquack weather website which should be fun in the coming months. I refined my daily weather post on the blog, getting a nice picture included, plus a few other miscellaneous items tied up. I hope some of you out there will join in the fun – it is completely free and easy to use once you complete your registration and a short ramping up period. I also drank a good part of my ginormous water bottle throughout the evening and early morning hours.
According to Channel 4 radar, there is a line of showers/storm running through central PA and parts of NY heading east towards NJ and New England, so they will not affect my area. There also are some showers out in the Atlantic Ocean off the North Carolina coast.
