CoCoRaHS report for Sunday July 22 2018. Regular reports from my station coming soon, I promise. Trying to catch up and also still recovering from my recent leg infection, which is getting better with continued antibiotics being taken.
Birthday celebrations (actual birthday a week away, on Sunday, July 29) commenced this Sunday – life goes on. Had a great brunch at a local seafood restaurant “Nantuckets Reef” with my friends Laura and Chris. Picture of the three of us having brunch is today’s featured image. Brief Monday morning update as of 0630 – cloudy (not raining at the present time, but an additional 0.54″ of rain has fallen since Midnight Sunday night) , current temp 75, dew point 74 R.H 97% Barometric pressure 29.91″ and rising slowly.

Several hours of late afternoon/early evening thunder and lightning
though no real intense downpours at my location. Max rain rate
0.58″/hour @ 2139. Dew point temperatures ranged from a low of
61 @ 0123 up to a high of a high of 73 @ 1541.
July monthly precipitation now totals 5.38″ and year-to-date total
is now 27.65″. More tropical downpours expected for the next few
days. Flooding in flood-prone spots is quite likely.
