Friday looks to be mostly cloudy with highs around 40° and lows around 30°, with very little chance of snow (10 POP) till late when snow should develop as a coastal storm approaches the area from the SW. We have a Winter Weather Advisory posted for Saturday for 1-3″ of snow (90 POP) and clouds all day, with highs staying in the mid 30s and lows in the mid 20s. Sunday should be sunny and seaasonably cold, with highs in the mid 30s and lows in the mid 20s. Monday and Tuesday look to be partly cloudy and continued cold, with highs in the low 40s and lows in the mid 20s on Monday and around 20° on Tuesday.
On the Channel 4 weather website at 0818 radar is showing areas of snow to my SW over sections of west-central and SW VA, TN, and points SW, with rain over coastal sections of the Carolinas and running SW from there into the deep south of southern GA and MS at this time. All of these areas are tracking NE, and my area should stay north/west of the rain/snow line for this storm.
