In honor of the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, I wanted to revisit an awesome East Coast Storm when I was a wee-little one.

Fred Pickhardt of Ocean Weather Services in Lutz FL grew up in NJ posted this great article on the historic details on this incredible superstorm back in November 1950. He was 2 years old, I was 4 months old. Heard so many unbelievable stories about this storm, many are best described on the weather maps and charts at that time. Hope you will enjoy it!
