Brief cloudy, milder, dry update for West Rockville Maryland for Saturday October 14 2017
I could not post on Saturday. It is now early Monday morning. I will just give a short summary of Saturday’s happenings, then follow with a more normal report for Sunday. Saturday was cloudy most of the day, then cleared off late afternoon. Once again temperatures ranged from the mid 60s to the upper 50s. Dew points ranged from the low 60s down to the upper 50s . The Saturday minimum temperature from the VP2 (59.2°) was recorded at 0440 while the maximum temperature (67.4°) was recorded at 1435. Dew point temps ranged from 63° down to 58°. Relative humidity values were about the same as yesterday (97% – 82%). Barometric dropped today, ranging from 30.29″ at 0000 down to 30.17″ at 1713.
I was really busy Saturday. I watched my Wisconsin Badgers beat Purdue 17-9 in a closer game than I expected. I spoke a lot on the phone with many friends, including Josh H for a few hours about all things weather. The Yanks lost to Houston in another 2-1 thriller.
Saturday’s high and low temps and daily precip amount from the VP2 (coming from the ground radiation shield about 4 feet off the ground just under and out from the balcony), the Lakewood WXBug station and the USG VP2 station across the street are as follows:
