A partly cloudy, warm, humid but dry weather update for West Rockville Maryland for Tuesday October 10 2017
Tuesday was partly cloudy, still quite warm and a bit less humid, with no rain around today. Temperatures rose from the mid 60s in the early AM to the muggy low 80s in the afternoon among the partly cloudy skies. Dew points ranged from the lower 70s down to the mid 60s. Now at 0318 we have mostly cloudy conditions with temperatures in the low 70s with dew points in the upper 60s. The Monday minimum temperature from the VP2 (66.6°) was recorded at 0618 while the maximum temperature (82.3°) was recorded at 1544. Dew point temps ranged from 66° up to 73°. Relative humidity values lowered a bit from yesterday (98% – 66%). Barometric values rose a bit more today, ranging from 30.11″ at 0935 down to 29.99″ at 0000.
Remember now you can get the VP2 data on Weatherlink. You can access the data through http://www.weatherlink.com/user/walrusman444. I am also now on weather underground. My ID is KMDROCKV200 and my station is called “Gardens of Traville.” Data is online, normally just about in real-time.
We now have a mostly cloudy sky at 0318 Tuesday. Generally cloudy/showery and cooler weather should follow the rest of the workweek from Wednesday through Friday with temps in the mid 60s-lower 70s and lows in the 55° to 60° range. Right now a 50 POP for rain on Wednesday, a 30 POP on Thursday, and 20 POP on Friday under mostly cloudy skies. We still need all the rain we can get!!
On Weatherbug at 0318 the radar is showing light rain showers to my west over parts of PA, WV and VA along with heavier showers/storms over southern VA, all moving east. Those heavier showers/storms look to stay south of our immediate area.
