A mostly sunny, dry, slightly milder update for West Rockville Maryland for Tuesday November 28 2017

Tuesday was another mostly sunny, dry, slightly milder day. Temperatures started out in the upper-mid 30s in the early AM, then rose into the upper 50s in the afternoon. Dew points were in the 30s most of the day. At 0740 we have sunny/clear skies with temperatures in the upper 30s. The Tuesday minimum temperature from the VP2 (37.3°) was recorded at 0647 while the maximum temperature (59.2°) was recorded at 1313. Dew point temps ranged from 31° up to 41°. Relative humidity values rose early today but dropped in the afternoon (87% – 36%). Barometric values rose from yesterday, ranging from a high of 30.40″ at 1020 down to 30.23″ at 2355.

Remember now you can get the VP2 data on Weatherlink. You can access the data through http://www.weatherlink.com/user/walrusman444.

I am also now on weather underground. My ID is KMDROCKV200 and my station is called “Gardens of Traville.” Data is online, normally just about in real-time. I contribute daily to cocorahs as Rockville 2.8 WNW, Station ID MD-MG-115.

I worked on the first few steps of getting rid of my earthlink email, within the next 7-10 days before the current billing cycle closes out on December 10. I emailed out my September and October data sheet PDF, and a WORD document of my climate statistical table and textual summary/analysis. This went out to close to 100 people I had stored on a mailing list, and let everyone know that I would be getting off earthlink real soon. I also sent out the same months’ reports from PRESTO and also the Mt Washington F6.

We are clear/sunny and dry early this morning with temps in the upper-mid 30s. Today should be sunny with highs in the low 60s with lows in the mid 30s. Partly sunny on Thursday and cooler with highs in the low 50s and lows around 40° to finish out a dry month on a particularly dry note, with no rain since November 19. On Friday we should start out December with sunny skies, high temperatures in the low 50s and lows around 30°. A bit cloudier with similar temperatures on Saturday, but still dry with only a 10 POP for rain.

On the Channel 4 weather website at 0740 their radar is clear in our local 4 state region. The closest action is a bit of rain over downeast Maine and an area out in the Oklahoma area of the lower Great Plains.

As of 0740, the data from the VP2 (coming from the ground radiation shield about 4 feet off the ground just under and out from the balcony) and the Lakewood WXBug station are as follows :
