WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – SATURDAY JUNE 5, 2021
Saturday was the hottest day of the year so far with the 90.2 reading recorded today, eclipsing the previous high for the year of 89.8 recorded back on May 23. We had a mostly sunny, moderately humid day. The max temp was reached in the mid afternoon with low temps a bit less warm than yesterday with readings in the mid 60s reached in the usual early morning hours. The moderate NW winds blew strongest in the late morning hours. Barometric pressures were once again rather muted, lowest in the early evening and highest in the mid morning hours.
Sunday looks sunny and hot with highs in the low 90s and lows in the mid 60s.upper 60s.
Monday should still be hot and humid with highs in the low 90s and lows around 70 with chances of showers and storms starting to increase in the afternoon. Warm and humid through the rest of the week with highs in the mid-upper 80s and lows in the mid-upper 60s under partly cloudy skies and daily possibilities of showers and storms. By Thursday highs may only reach the low 80s with further cooling Friday with highs possibly only reaching the 70s.
