WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – TUESDAY MAY 18, 2021

Tuesday was partly cloudy with warmer max temps (upper 70s) than Monday with lows a bit higher (low 50s), reached at normal times during the 24 hour day. The winds picked up a bit from the NW direction. Barometric pressures continued to increase over Monday’s readings.

Wednesday looks to be partly to mostly sunny and warm with highs around 80 and lows around 50.

Thereafter the rest of the week into the weekend looks to be heating up under partly to mostly sunny skies with max temps in the mid-upper 80s through Saturday then into the low 90s on Sunday with cooler temps and showers on Monday. Lows look to be in the mid-upper 50s to start the week to the upper 60s by the weekend.

Currently at 0436 AM EDT Wednesday clear skies with the temperature at 55.9, barometer 30.32″ and steady, relative humidity 83%, dew point 51 , winds W-SW at less than 5 MPH. No rain has fallen since midnight into the tipping bucket VP2 gauge at the USG site across the street from me.

Today’s feature image was one taken around sunset a bit over a week ago (last Sunday evening) looking west past my cocorahs 4-inch rain gauge through the generally cloudy, dry skies at the time showing a green groundcover.
