Currently at 0608 PM EDT Sunday partly cloudy skies with the temperature at 50.2, barometer 30.26″ and steady, relative humidity 86% , dew point 46 , winds S-SE at less than 5 MPH. No rain has fallen since midnight into the tipping bucket VP2 gauge at the USG site across the street from me.

Today’s feature image is one taken around sunset last Sunday evening looking west highlighting my “official cocorahs 4-inch rain gauge” through the generally cloudy, dry skies at the time showing a green groundcover. The “holly” adorning the custom rain gauge mount is, however, artificial.
