WEATHER UPDATE – THURSDAY APRIL 22, 2021 – WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND

Thursday was partly cloudy, chilly and blustery. Low temperatures started out at the freezing mark, only rising to around 50 by the mid-late afternoon. Winds remained moderately high all day out of the NW.

Partly cloudy nd remaining cool on Friday with highs once again around 50 with lows around 32.

Showers return once again on Saturday with highs in the mid 60s and lows around 50. Clearing out on Sunday and Monday with seasonable temperatures, highs in the mid 60s and lows in the mid 40s before a major warm up begins on Tuesday with highs reaching 80 then the mid 80s possibly on Wednesday, lows in the upper 50s to low 60s. Partly cloudy skies should prevail.

Currently at 0555 AM EDT Friday clear skies with the temperature at 38.3, barometer 30.15″ and rising, relative humidity 73% , dew point 30, winds W at 5-10 MPH. No rain has fallen since midnight into the tipping bucket VP2 gauge at the USG site across the street from me.

Today’s feature image is a different view out my balcony looking NE early Monday evening showing a bit of spring “bud out.”  Full leaf out should be in about a week to 10 days.
