Thursday started out warm, partly sunny and dry through the early afternoon. Then a stratocumulus overcast developed, with cooler, damper conditions and an intermittent light rainfall most of the evening resulted due to a weak cold frontal passage. Storms were elsewhere, including some suspected tornados,  to the east and south mostly. Temperatures were in the upper 60s in the early AM, rising into the upper mid 80s by early afternoon, then falling with the cloudiness into the damp 70s the rest of the day.

The maximum temperature was 86.8° at 1421.

The minimum temperature was 68.5° at 0541.

The dew point temperatures ranged from a high of 73° @ 1438 down to a low of 63° @ 2358.

The relative humidity values ranged from a high of 90% @ 0511 down to a low of 56% @ 1420.

The barometric pressure ranged from a high of 29.81″ @ 0648 down to a low of 29.71″ @ 1429.

0.11″ of precipitation fell on Thursday. May now has a total rainfall of 6.24″. The year-to-date total is now 20.29″.

Please remember that my Weather Underground precipitation data reflects what is recorded automatically through the tipping bucket VP2 gauge, just as it does on WxLink 2.0. The tipping bucket has been producing erratic values every day of late so should not be used except for general precipitation timing.

I actually use the data I post to CoCoRaHS from my 4 inch CoCoRaHS gauge I read manually as my “official” precipitation total each day.
