Tuesday warmed up a bit as the AM clouds gave way to partial late afternoon clearing with the sun appearing a few hours before sunset. The featured image is a picture off my balcony looking NE just after sunset showing the improving conditions. No rain today, temperatures still held in the upper 40s and 50s all day. Temps reached highs in the high 50s in the mid afternoon with lows in the upper mid 40s in the early morning hours.

The maximum temperature was 58.9° at 1442.

The minimum temperature was 46.9° at 0620.

The dew point temperatures ranged from a high of 49° @ 0000 down to a low of 41° @ 1114.

The relative humidity values ranged from a high of 96% @ 0425 down to a low of 56% @ 1443.

The barometric pressure ranged from a low of 29.83″ @ 0321 up to a high of 29.98″ @ 2357.

There was no precipitation falling on Tuesday. May has a total rainfall of 4.66″. The year-to-date total is 18.71″.

Please remember that my Weather Underground precipitation data reflects what is recorded automatically through the tipping bucket VP2 gauge, just as it does on WxLink 2.0. The tipping bucket has been producing erratic values at times so should not be used except for general precipitation timing.

I actually use the data I post to CoCoRaHS from my 4 inch CoCoRaHS gauge I read manually as my “official” precipitation total each day.

Wednesday and Thursday should be not as cool, with highs in the low-mid 70s and lows in the mid-upper 50s under mostly sunny skies on Wednesday and partly cloudy skies on Thursday. We should start to dry out our saturated grounds.

Friday and Saturday looks warmer with highs in the low 80s with lows in the lower 60s under partly to mostly cloudy skies with increasing chances for showers and thundershowers.

Sunday looks a bit cooler with mostly cloudy, dry skies, highs in the mid 70s and lows around 60°.

Midnight Tuesday recorded a temperature of 48.7°, relative humidity 84%, pressure rising at 29.97″and a dew point temperature of 44° under clear skies.

Currently at 0413 the temperature is 45.6° under clear skies, relative humidity at 88%, barometric pressure steady at 29.98″, and the dew point at 42°.
