Monday was mostly sunny, warm and dry yet again. Temperatures rose into the mid 80s with lows in the mid 60s. Dew points rose above the 70° mark. Now at 0753 we have clear skies with scattered high clouds and temperatures in the upper 60s and the dew points in the mid 60s. The Monday minimum temperature from the VP2 in the shelter on the ground below my balcony (67.0°) was recorded at 0417 while the maximum temperature (85.9°) was recorded at 1546. Dew point temps ranged from 65° up to 73°. Relative humidity values were a bit higher than yesterday (94% – 54%). Barometric values were a bit lower than yesterday, ranging from 30.06″ at 0931 down to 29.98″ at 1641.

I was still up in the morning with my bank, getting my account straightened out so I could submit a grocery order to Safeway successfully. I finally was able to do that, and will come late in the afternoon on Tuesday. I finally got some rest later in the morning through to late in the afternoon, another topsy-turvy day. I also finally set up my new station on Weather Underground, though it is not transmitting from the new location properly yet. I caught the Monday night football game, won by the Cowboys over the Arizona Cardinals, and also the regular RAW wrestling show also. I talked off and on a few times with Ray about his current cell phone status and the weather. I had the last of the milk with cereal and coffee for a late brunch, then later heated up the leftover spicy chicken and remaining broccoli cheddar rice a roni. I also had some delicious kimchee, which is spicy pickled cabbage. It was all yummy! I also caught up some on my email and facebook messaging later during the evening, along with trying to get my email folders back to the way they were prior to recent problems. I had some prune juice and spicy low-sodium V8 juice right around dinner time, and some triscuits for later snacks. As always I had plenty of water and vitamins throughout the evening.

We now have clear skies with a few scattered high cirrus clouds with temperatures in the mid-upper 60s at 0753 Tuesday. Sunny to partly cloudy skies will dominate our weather Tuesday and Wednesday with very warm and dry conditions continuing. High temps should be in the mid 80s with lows in the mid 60s. Thursday and Friday should turn cooler, with highs in the low-mid 70s and lows in the much more comfortable low 50s. Cooler air will continue to work its way into the weekend as we transition from September into October with rain hopefully starting to fall again at the beginning of next week.

On Weatherbug at 0753 the radar is showing the outermost bands of showers associated with Hurricane Maria off of the North Carolina coast, and some well off the coast of Massachusetts associated with the dying remains of tropical storm Jose. Otherwise the Eastern US is clear at this time.
