WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – FRIDAY JUNE 4, 2021
Friday continued warm with dew points staying relatively uncomfortable, hitting the 70 mark once again. We had a partly cloudy day with showers scattered around the region but with no measurable rain falling at my location. Max temps reached the low 80s by mid-late afternoon with low temps remaining quite warm, only falling into the upper 60s at the very end of the day. The winds picked up a bit again by mid afternoon, once again in a westerly direction. Barometric pressures were rather muted, lowest in the afternoon and highest in the later stages of the evening.
Saturday looks sunny and quite warm with highs in the mid-upper 80s and lows in the mid 60s. Sunny and hot Sunday with highs in the low-mid 90s and lows in the upper 60s.
Monday should still be hot and more humid with highs in the low 90s and lows around 70 with chances of showers and storms starting to increase in the afternoon. Warm and humid through the rest of the week with highs in the mid-upper 80s and lows in the mid-upper 60s under partly cloudy skies and daily possibilities of showers and storms.

Today’s feature image was one taken Wednesday evening with a cloudy sunset. It is basically showing the usual view looking west past my cocorahs 4-inch rain gauge through cloudy, still dry skies.
