WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – SATURDAY MAY 29 AND SUNDAY MAY 30 2021
Saturday was cloudy, quite cool with rain falling most of the day. Highs stayed in the 50s all day with lows dipping down into the upper 40s. The max temperature for the day was reached at the very beginning of the day while the min for the day was reached almost 24 hours later. The winds picked up a bit from the E but were not particularly significant all day, just persistent. Barometric pressure started off a bit low but rose slowly throughout the day.
Sunday was cloudy and quite cool once again but remarkably dry despite the low clouds and fog that were around, particularly in the AM hours. Highs wee in the mid 50s with lows once again dipping down into the upper 40s. Clouds lifted some in the PM hours in conjunction with rising barometric pressures. Winds were once again moderately consistent from the easterly direction.
Memorial Day Monday should turn partly cloudy and milder, with max temps reaching the mid 70s and lows in the low 50s. The rest of the week should feature partly cloudy skies and seasonable temperatures with highs in the low 80s all week with lows in the 50s through Wednesday and 60s on Thursday and Friday, along with increasing chances of showers and thundershowers.
