WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – FRIDAY MAY 28, 2021
Friday was cloudy with rain developing in the afternoon and evening with cooler max temps (low 70s) than Thursday with lows also lower (upper 50s), with the high for the day reached at the very start of the observation day and the low reached 24 hours later. The winds were relatively light from the E direction. Barometric pressures were highest at the very beginning of the day and dropped steadily much of the day to the lowest value of the day in the early evening. Rain was heaviest in the evening hours.
Saturday and Sunday look to be equally gloomy with even cooler temps only maxing out in the 50s to at most 60, and lows in the upper 40s to around 50 before moderating up to the 70s and 50s for Memorial Day into Tuesday.

Currently at 0502 AM EDT Saturday cloudy skies, light rain with a temperature of 52.0, barometer 29.79″ and steady, relative humidity 94%, dew point 50 , winds E-SE at around 10 MPH. 0.14″ of rain has fallen since midnight into the tipping bucket VP2 gauge at the USG site across the street from me.
