WEATHER UPDATE – TUESDAY APRIL 27, 2021 – WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND
Tuesday was mostly sunny with lows in the upper 40s and highs in the low 80s reached by later in the afternoon. That was the warmest temperature I have had this spring, exceeding the 79.9 max reached on March 26. Light-moderate winds veered to a much warmer southwesterly direction through most of the day.
Partly to mostly sunny skies should prevail Wednesday, with highs even warmer in the mid to upper 80s on Wednesday, lows in the lower 60s.
Clouds should predominate on Thursday with probable showers but only slightly cooler with highs in the lower 80s, lows dropping into the 50s late.
Breezy and cooler Friday with highs in the 60s. Partly sunny conditions both on Friday and Saturday with winds lessening on Saturday with highs in the 60s, lows in the low-mid 40s.
On Sunday and Monday partly cloudy with warmth returning, highs around 80 with lows around 60. Light to moderate SW winds return. generally in the upper 40s to mid 50s.

Currently at 0559 AM EDT Wednesday fair skies with the temperature at 65.2, barometer 29.95″ and rising, relative humidity 74% , dew point 57, winds generally W at 5-15 MPH. No rain has fallen since midnight into the tipping bucket VP2 gauge at the USG site across the street from me.
