BRIEF WEATHER UPDATE – WEST ROCKVILLE MD – FRIDAY, APRIL 9, 2021
Friday was a cloudy, cooler, damp day. Rain started to fall about 0300 and continued for the next 3 hours or so with 0.35″ falling, The morning through mid-afternoon remained cool but stayed dry. The late afternoon featured numerous rumbles of thunder with only very light rain falling (0.01″) The evening turned quiet, remaining cool and dry.
Clouds will persist for most of the day on Saturday but breaks should appear by the afternoon as max tenps approach the 70 nark, then showers and possible thunderstorms resuming on Sunday with highs in the mid-upper 70s.
Next week looks seasonable and dry through Wednesday with highs around 70 and lows around 50.
