A relative calm came upon the area on Sunday, with sunny, clear, dry skies, lighter winds, and frosty early morning temperatures yielding to seasonably cool afternoon temperatures.  High temperatures on Sunday reached the upper mid 50s, after a chilly early AM low in the mid 30s, dropping down to almost that chilly by midnight observation time on Sunday into Monday. Dew point temperatures dropped from the mid 30s at the very start of the day down to the upper 20s by mid-afternoon.  Note that from this point forward all times will be expressed in Eastern Standard Time (EST). 

The maximum temperature was 57.7 degrees at 1425.

The minimum temperature was 35.7 degrees at 0414.

The dew point temperatures ranged from a high of 35 degrees @ 0000 down to a low of 28 degrees @ 1521.

The relative humidity values ranged from a high of 87% @ 0743 down to a low of 41% @ 1521.

The barometric pressure ranged from a low of 30.15 inches @ 0109 up to a high of 30.32 inches @ 2358.

The highest daily peak wind gust recorded across the street on the roof of the new USG building was 30 MPH that was recorded at 1052 from the W. Please remember that this anemometer is at a non-standard height of 60 feet above ground level (AGL), which can cause greater wind speeds than at the standard 33 feet AGL.

There was no precipitation on Sunday. My November monthly total is still 0.00 inches. The year-to-date total is 44.57 inches.

Please remember that my Weather Underground precipitation data reflects what is recorded automatically through the tipping bucket VP2 gauge, just as it does on WxLink 2.0. The tipping bucket has been producing erratic values on most days (when I have had rain that is) so should not be used except for general precipitation timing.

I actually use the data I post to CoCoRaHS from my 4 inch CoCoRaHS gauge I read manually as my official precipitation total each day.

A bit less busy of a Sunday compared with the previous 2 quite busy days, paralleling the more tranquil weather. I watched NFL pro football and tried to catch up on some email correspondence and website activity. I had a bowl of shredded wheat with 2 small bananas and milk, and some pomegranate tea. For dinner I just had some crackers and cheese at first then a bit later on a tuna fish salad sandwich with sliced tomato and a some hot pepper cheese. Late at night I placed a much needed food order with Safeway through Shipt. 

Monday should sunny and seasonably chilly once again, with highs in the upper 50s with lows in the low-mid 30s in the early Monday morning hours. 

Tuesday should moderate some, with partly cloudy skies and highs in the low 60s and lows in the low 40s. 

Wednesday should be partly cloudy with highs in the mid-upper 50s and lows around 40.

Thursday should be cloudy with highs around 60 and mid 40s for lows with showers ahead of another strong cold front. 

Friday will turn cold once again, with highs in the low 40s and lows in the low 30s with early morning showers giving way to partly cloudy, blustery conditions. 

Saturday should be sunny and cold, with highs in the mid-upper 40s and lows down around 30. 

At Midnight Sunday, clear skies with a temperature of 36.2 degrees, relative humidity 85%, pressure rising at 30.32 inches with a dew point temperature of 32 degrees. Winds were calm.

Currently at 0659 EST the temperature is 37.4 degrees under clear/sunny skies, relative humidity at 82%, barometric pressure steady at 30.36 inches, and the dew point temperature at 32 degrees. Winds are averaging 5 MPH over the past 10 minutes from the SE. Peak wind gust since midnight has been 8 MPH from the SE at 0412.
