Mostly sunny, warm afternoon after a cooler morning, dry, pleasant update for Saturday, June 22, 2019 from West Rockville Maryland

Dew point temperatures remained in the 50s most of the day, briefly dipping into the upper 40s in the early AM.
The maximum temperature was 81.6 degrees at 1616.

There was no precipitation on Saturday. There has been 2.12 inches of rain recorded so far in June. The year-to-date total is 22.41 inches.
My current online data (except for rainfall/snowfall – use the cocorahs link shown below for that dataset) is showing regularly on Weather Underground. My data is posted there every 5 minutes. My ID is KMDROCKV200 and my station is called “Gardens of Traville.” Data is online, available in real-time as it is being updated on a 5 minute interval. The web address for my data on weather underground is: https://www.wunderground.com/personal-weather-station/dashboard?ID=KMDROCKV200
I contribute my precipitation data daily to CoCoRaHS as Rockville 2.8 WNW, Station ID MD-MG-115 on https://www.cocorahs.org/
Please remember that my Weather Underground precipitation data reflects what is recorded automatically through the tipping bucket VP2 gauge, just as it does on WxLink 2.0. The tipping bucket has been producing erratic values every day of late so should not be used except for general precipitation timing.
I actually use the data I post to CoCoRaHS from my 4 inch CoCoRaHS gauge I read manually as my “official” precipitation total each day.
Saturday was a restful day after an active Friday. I heated up the remaining chicken, green bean, and mushroom and onion soup from the other day for dinner, after a turkey sausage, egg, cream cheese breakfast sandwich on rye toast for an early breakfast.
Sunday should be mostly to partly sunny and warmer, with highs in the mid 80s and lows in the mid 60s.
Monday through Friday will be sunny to partly sunny, quite warm to hot and increasingly humid but mostly dry, with highs in the upper 80s early in the week up into the low-mid 90s towards the end of the week with lows in the upper
60s. to lower 70s. So it appears that June will finish out with a bit of a heat wave.
Midnight Saturday recorded a temperature of 65.4°, relative humidity 73%, pressure rising at 30.06 inches and a dew point temperature of 56.5° under clear skies.
Currently at 0639 the temperature is 59.2° under mostly sunny skies, relative humidity at 84%, barometric pressure rising at 30.11 inches, and a still comfortable dew point of 54°.
Good morning from the walrus on this Sunday.
