You can get my VP2 data on Weatherlink. I have migrated over to Weatherlink 2.0 so I have a new link for my data. You can now access the data through:

I am posting daily to weather underground. My ID is KMDROCKV200 and my station is called “Gardens of Traville.” Data is online, normally just about in real-time. The web address for my data on weather underground is:

I contribute daily to CoCoRaHS as Rockville 2.8 WNW, Station ID MD-MG-115 on https://www.cocorahs.org/

Please remember that Weather Underground precipitation data reflects what is recorded automatically through the tipping bucket VP2 gauge. And the tipping bucket is producing significantly higher values than my 4″ gauge. I actually use the data I post to CoCoRaHS from my 4″ CoCoRaHS gauge I read manually as my “official” precipitation total each day.

No rain fell on Saturday with November 2018 rainfall now at 5.76″ with the year-to-date precipitation at 56.81″.

Currently at 0810 the temperature is 35.2°, dew point temperature 33°, relative humidity 91%, and barometric pressure at 30.40″ and steady.

Fall color is now past peak with most trees bare. The last of the leaves were holding onto this maple (see featured image) on Friday when I took the picture from the rain gauge. No further fall color reporting will follow from now on, hopefully snow reporting will be coming in very soon. Mostly dry conditions will be prevalent over Thanksgiving week.

The morning sky is remaining mostly cloudy with a bit of sun coming through. Temperatures are currently rising slowly through the 30s.

Good morning from the Walrus on this Sunday.

Kevin
