You can get my VP2 data on Weatherlink. I have migrated over to Weatherlink 2.0 so I have a new link for my data. You can now access the data through:

I am posting daily to weather underground. My ID is KMDROCKV200 and my station is called “Gardens of Traville.” Data is online, normally just about in real-time. The web address for my data on weather underground is:

I contribute daily to CoCoRaHS as Rockville 2.8 WNW, Station ID MD-MG-115 on https://www.cocorahs.org/

Please remember that Weather Underground precipitation data reflects what is recorded automatically through the tipping bucket VP2 gauge. I actually use the data I post to CoCoRaHS from my 4″ CoCoRaHS gauge I read manually as my “official” precipitation total each day.

Monday looks to be mostly cloudy with high temps in the upper 40s and lows in the low 40s but only a 10 POP for rain. Tuesday looks cloudy with rain returning (90 POP) with highs in the mid-upper 40s and lows in the low 30s.

Thursday’s midnight observations include a temperature of 48.1°, relative humidity of 62%,

Currently at 0641 the temperature is 44.8°, dew point temperature 36°, relative humidity 72%, and barometric pressure at 30.27″ and falling.

Fall color is now at or past peak with lots of leaf fall from the recent frequent windy conditions over the past several days. There still is color around, but getting a bit harder to find around the apartment complex.

The morning sky is really clouding up now as our next rain system from the Midwest moves in today. There are a few scattered showers in the region, but steadier and heavier rain will be coming in during the afternoon and evening hours. Temperatures are currently holding in the mid 40s.

Good morning from the Walrus on this Friday.

Kevin
