You can get my VP2 data on Weatherlink. I have migrated over to Weatherlink 2.0 so I have a new link for my data. You can now access the data through:

I am posting daily to weather underground. My ID is KMDROCKV200 and my station is called “Gardens of Traville.” Data is online, normally just about in real-time. The web address for my data on weather underground is:

I contribute daily to CoCoRaHS as Rockville 2.8 WNW, Station ID MD-MG-115 on https://www.cocorahs.org/

Please remember that Weather Underground precipitation data reflects what is recorded automatically through the tipping bucket VP2 gauge.  I actually use the data I post to CoCoRaHS from my 4″ CoCoRaHS gauge I read manually as my “official” precipitation total each day.

No rain fell on Wednesday with November 2018 rainfall still at 2.87″ with the year-to-date precipitation at 53.92″.

Thursday should be partly sunny and seasonable, with highs in the mid 50s and lows around 40°.

Friday should be cloudy with more rain returning (100 POP) by PM, a bit cooler with high temps around 50° and lows in the mid 30s.

Saturday should be mostly sunny and colder, with highs in the low 40s and lows in the upper 20s.

Sunday should be sunny and still cold, with highs in the mid 40s and lows in the low 30s.

Monday looks to cloud up a bit with high temps in the upper 40s and lows in the low 40s but only a 10 POP for rain.

Wednesday’s midnight observations include a temperature of 54.2°, relative humidity of 74%,
barometric pressure of 30.17″ and rising, and a dew point of 46° with partly cloudy skies.

Currently at 0852 the temperature is 48.8°, dew point temperature 36°, relative humidity 62%, and barometric pressure at 30.30″ and rising.

Fall color is now past peak with lots of leaf fall from the recent frequent windy conditions over the past several days. There still is some color around, but getting harder to find in some locations around the apartment complex.

The morning sky is clearing now as our long-standing altocumulus overcast from early this morning and yesterday is finally retreating to a mostly sunny sky.  Today’s attached image, taken from the rain gauge looking W yesterday morning around sunrise, shows a sky similar to what is out there right now.  Temperatures are rising through the upper 40s currently.

Good morning from the Walrus on this Thursday.

Kevin
