On Saturday afternoon my friend John drove us up to the Wesley Grove United Methodist Church (see today’s featured image) for their annual turkey and oyster country buffet style dinner in southern Damascus Maryland.
On the way up and back from my apartment through mostly rural, country environments we did not notice much color change in most of the trees we observed. Most of the color we did see was not easy to note – mostly drab browns and muted dark reds with occasional yellow dogwoods.
The featured church image was not taken this Saturday, but during some past October. You can notice some color change in spots in the picture (google image).
