A mostly cloudy, warm, moderately humid update for West Rockville Maryland for Thursday, September 20, 2018

Thursday was partly to mostly cloudy and a bit cooler than Wednesday due to the increase in cloudiness. No rain fell. Thursday’s max temperature was 80.7° at 1519. Wednesday’s min temperature was 67.1° at 0727. Dew point temperatures ranged from a low of 63° @ 0518 up to a high of 72° @ 1619. Relative humidity values ranged from a high of 93% @ 0904 down to a low of 72% @ 1519. Barometric pressure ranged from a low of 30.06″ @ 0000 up to a high of 30.21″ @ 2150.

September monthly precipitation held at 6.67″ and my year-to-date precipitation held at 44.75″. Another rain-free day (streak is now up to 2 days and won’t be much longer than that with weekend rain expected) but looking ominous at times with lots of clouds around most of the time.

Currently at 0802 the temperature is 68.9°, dew point temperature at 66°, relative humidity 91%, barometric pressure at 30.24″ and rising.  Cloudy skies, light rain showers 50 miles to my south over southern sections of the DC Metro area in southern MD and east central VA but not moving in my station direction.  Clouds should hang around for the next few days (Friday through Monday) with rain showers mostly expected on Sunday into Monday.

I will try to post the rest of my backlogged daily reports for the missing days in the coming days as time allows along with new reports. Any questions/comments please let me know. Good morning from the cloudy and relatively pleasant Friday morning.

Kevin
