I had some computer/logistical/snowy problems/concerns on Thursday evening/early Friday morning so I did not post my Thursday report until now. It will be a briefer, more condensed report for Thursday, with a resumption to a full report for our (somewhat) snowy Friday. Thursday was the calm before the Friday snow. Partly cloudy, milder early in the day, then turning cloudy and colder by the end of the day. Temperatures continued to rise in the very early AM, remaining above freezing overnight, then climbing into the upper 30s mid-morning. The afternoon had increasing clouds and slowly falling temps which continued into the evening. The Thursday minimum temperature from the VP2 (28.2°) was recorded at 2359 while the maximum temperature (38.9°) was recorded at 0920. Temps dropped thereafter for the rest of the day till midnight obs time.. Dew point temps ranged from 28° at 0855 down to 12° at 2335. Relative humidity values rose a bit today (70% – 48%). Barometric values varied greatly from yesterday, ranging from a low of 29.53″ at 0343 up to 30.13″ late at 2348.

There was no precipitation/snow in the cocorahs gauge on Thursday. The VP2 tipping bucket rain gauge under my balcony also didn’t register any precipitation on Thursday.
