A partly cloudy, dry, cooler update for West Rockville Maryland for Monday November 20 2017

Monday was partly cloudy, colder, breezy at times and dry. Temperatures started in the mid 30s in the early AM, and rose some during the day to the upper 40s in the mid-afternoon. Dew points held in the 20s all day. At 0448 we have clear skies with temperatures in the upper 30s. The Monday minimum temperature from the VP2 (35.2°) was recorded at 0703 while the maximum temperature (48.5°) was recorded at 1503. Dew point temps ranged from 29° down to 22°. Relative humidity values lowered quite a bit today (65% – 38%). Barometric values rose steadily in the morning then flattened out the rest of the day, ranging from a low of 29.99″ at 0000 up to 30.23″ at 1009.

We are clear early this morning with temps in the upper 30s. Tuesday should be sunny with scattered clouds at times with temps warming into the upper 50s, lows in the mid 40s. Wednesday should be cooler under sunny skies, with highs in the upper 40s and lows in the mid 20s. Thanksgiving Day Thursday should find us mostly sunny with scattered clouds at times with highs in the mid 40s, lows around 30°. Black Friday should be sunny with highs around 50° and lows in the mid 30s.

On the Channel 4 weather website at 0448 their radar is clear throughout the Eastern U.S. at this time.

There was no precipitation in my cocorahs gauge on Monday through midnight. The VP2 tipping bucket rain gauge under my balcony also did not record any precipitation through midnight obs on Monday.

November precipitation is 2.09″.

The Lakewood rain gauge recorded no rain through midnight on Monday. The monthly precipitation total is 2.22″ partially based on data from the Weatherbug 10 app on my phone with some of the earlier in the month values shown estimated from radar.

Temp from the VP2 at 2400 was 38.5 RH 62% BP 30.19F DP 26.6. Clear and dry at midnight.
