Tuesday was a milder and mostly sunny day, perfect for the Washington Caps Stanley Cup parade through downtown Washington D.C.. Temperatures started out in the very pleasant mid 50s in the early AM but rose into the equally pleasant mid 70s by mid-afternoon. Clouds did appear briefly, including a short overcast around 0900 and later scattered cumulus dotting the sky at times.
