Thursday was partly cloudy in the AM with building humidity and warmer temperatures coupled with an advancing frontal system in the afternoon that led to a line of severe thunderstorms that rumbled through around 1530. It knocked out power in our complex for a few hours. Winds gusted over 50 MPH at times, as some trees became horizontal in the powerful winds. April 2019 was drier and warmer than normal. My max temp (68.8°) was 3.5° above normal and my min temp (49.7°) was even more significantly 6.8° above normal, resulting in the mean temperature (59.3°) to be 5.2° above normal.
