Sunday started out partly cloudy, muggy and very warm through the mid-afternoon, then clouds took over as storms entered the area. The devastating flooding rains that hit Ellicott City were so bad because of rounds of storms continued to batter that area for several hours (often called training), but my area remained mostly dry and out of the storm action that was less than 30 miles NE of me (just a light shower of 0.02″ falling around 2015-2030). Friday was another sunny, warm, dry day. There were some clouds at times, breezes on occasion, and definitely rising dew points in the afternoon. Temperatures warmed up higher into the mid 80s and with rising dew points into the upper 60s not as comfortable a day as Thursday.
