Surday was the one day dry interlude between Saturday’s rains and Monday’s showers.  It was dry, warmer, and partly sunny as temps climbed through the 30s and 40s into the 50s by late morning. Saturday started out cloudy and foggy as temps slowly climbed through the 30s and dew points rose similarly, then in the late morning rain commenced and continued, moderate to heavy at times (1.72″ daily total) , with continued slowly rising temps and dew points. Flooding was found in the more flood-prone spots of the region and fog continued well into the afternoon. Well the sun came out for most of Friday, after the last of the precipitation (rain unfortunately) fell in the very early AM hours (0.06″), warming up to a max temperature reading of 44.4° at 1535 after a morning low of 33.5° at 0117. All of our natural snow was gone except in the shadiest, most protected spots by mid-afternoon. Well I had my first snow of the season on Thursday, November 15, 2018. It snowed mostly between about 0730-1215 EST, with temps around 30° at the start, warming up to the 32° freezing mark by mid-day, then raising above the freezing mark in the afternoon, changing the snow over to freezing rain/sleet briefly before changing to just plain rain.
