Friday was mostly sunny, not as warm or as humid as yesterday, and dry. Temperatures were in the upper mid 60s in the early AM and rose to the low 80s by the mid-late afternoon. Thursday was partly cloudy in the AM with building humidity and warmer temperatures coupled with an advancing frontal system in the afternoon that led to a line of severe thunderstorms that rumbled through around 1530. It knocked out power in our complex for a few hours. Winds gusted over 50 MPH at times, as some trees became horizontal in the powerful winds. April 2019 was drier and warmer than normal. My max temp (68.8°) was 3.5° above normal and my min temp (49.7°) was even more significantly 6.8° above normal, resulting in the mean temperature (59.3°) to be 5.2° above normal.
