Well with the holiday weekend over, I find that I am two reports behind (Friday and Saturday), plus the one for this Sunday. So I will do my usual condensed version that will cover all 3 days.  Friday was almost as hot as Thursday and just as humid, but with only light showers (0.03 inches) during the partly cloudy afternoon.  We  managed to barely get over 90 in the later mid-afternoon after an early morning min in the lower mid 70s….

Fourth of July Thursday was as hot as Wednesday, but even more humid, with mid-afternoon thunderstorms (0.63 inches) that turned a partly cloudy day in the AM into a mostly cloudy one during most of the PM, which affected the visibility of the local evening fireworks shows. July started out with a relatively pleasant start after a hot, humid ending to the month of June. Bright sunny skies, temps only reaching the mid 80s ending the 4 day streak of 90 or greater highs during the last 4 days of June was a great relief, along with lowering dew points into the mid 50s. After a brief very early morning shower (0.04″) most of Sunday was mostly sunny, a bit less hot or humid but still a rounded high temp of 90 degrees (89.9 degrees actually) that gave me a modest streak of 4 straight days of 90 degrees or more to wind up the month of June with a total of 5 days of 90 or more. Temperatures rose from the upper 60s in the early AM to around 90 degrees by mid-afternoon.  Eventually…

My max temp (76.7°) was 2.9° above normal and my min temp (59.7°) was even more significantly 7.9° above normal, resulting in the mean temperature (68.2°) to be 5.4° above normal.
