Overnight early Monday morning began cloudy and colder, with light snow starting around 0200, getting briefly heavier for a few hours prior to sunrise when most of the day’s 1.1 inches fell, with precipitation gradually changing over to freezing rain/drizzle then just rain by the afternoon when temps gradually climbed up into the mid 30s from early morning lows around the freezing mark. Friday started out very early cold and clear but temps warmed overnight along with increasing clouds and moisture. Light rain started in mid-morning and lasted occasionally through the mid-afternoon, then broke till another period in the evening, with fog, at times dense, forming with the rain. Wednesday started out the day with light rain at midnight, but changed over to light snow by 2 AM, lasting about an hour, only accumulating 0.3 inches on only grassy/bushy surfaces and nothing on the roads or sidewalks. Well before sunrise the snow and precipitation stopped, as temps held overnight around 31 degrees then slowly rose to 32 then 33 degrees by mid-morning. Tuesday was a day of change. Light morning rain and clouds with mild temps in the 50s gradually gave way to just clouds in the afternoon with gradually dropping temps into the 40s, then evening light rain and more clouds with temps dropping into the 30s by late evening after the cold front passed through, with light snow on our doorstep by midnight observation time. Monday was cloudy, with rain developing by mid-day and lasting into the early evening, mild temperatures mostly in the 40s slowly rising all day to around 50 by late evening. Dew points slowly climbed all day, ranging from the mid 30s in the very early AM up to around 50 by late evening.  The maximum temperature was 50.9 degrees at 2256. In a busy pre-Thanksgiving period, I fell behind in my daily reports. I have summarized the past 6 days leading up to Thanksgiving Eve into one slightly reduced in size report today.
