WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 16, 2021

My carpal tunnel syndrome/Arthritis continues to respond well to my treatments and my hand is slowly improving thankfully. I got the Voltaren order on Thursday afternoon. I have applied it to my wrist/hand once so far, and went on well and seemed to be quite pain relieving on a short time basis. Only further applications with time will tell the final tale.

Thursday was not as warm as yesterday but humid but not dry. I reached the low 80s for highs with dew points highest in the later mid-afternoon period during our rain showery period and lowest in the early morning hours just before sunrise. We peaked with our max temperature (81.2) of the day in the mid-afternoon. The low temperature for the day (upper 60s) was reached in the early morning hours just before sunrise. Rain was mostly light,  off and on all day, unlike other areas of the region, which experienced significant flooding with heavy rains at times.

The peak wind gust for the day (20 MPH) diminished some but was still moderate in strength, peaking in the very early morning, maintaining a NW direction. Barometric pressures were highest mid-evening while the lowest was reached in the very early morning.

Friday looks to have similar conditions to Thursday with highs around 80 and lows in the mid 60s with partly cloudy skies and more chances of showers and thundershowers. Saturday through Tuesday should dry out and stay moderately warm but still humid, with highs in the low-80s and lows in the low-mid 60s through Sunday, then upper 70s thereafter, all under partly to mostly sunny skies.
