WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 15, 2021
My carpal tunnel syndrome continues to respond pretty well to my treatments and my hand is improving thankfully. i had a video visit with my Doctor today who
entered a different possibility – arthritis – and told me to take over the counter Voltaren for relief. I have it on order and should be getting it with a grocery order on Thursday afternoon. We shall see how that part of the story evolves in the coming days.
Wednesday was as warm as yesterday and equally as humid and dry. I reached the mid 80s again for highs with dew points highest right at midnight then dropping some
during the morning hours. We peaked with our warm max temperature (86.3) of the day in the mid-afternoon. The low temperature for the day (upper 60s) was reached in
the early morning hours right after sunrise.
The peak wind gust for the day (24 MPH) increased significantly, peaking in the mid-evening, veering around to a NW direction during some near-by storm action that did
not materialize here locally. Barometric pressures were highest in the late evening while the lowest was reached in the late afternoon.
Thursday and Friday look to cool down some with highs around 80 and mid 60s for lows with partly cloudy skies and chances of showers and thundershowers each day.
Saturday through Monday should dry out and stay moderately warm but still humid, with highs in the low-mid 80s and lows in the low-mid 60s.
