A partly cloudy, dry and still somewhat pleasant weather update for West Rockville Maryland for Thursday August 10 2017

I got up in the mid afternoon to take a shower and talk to Ray, Marty and Tracy before going over to Building A for our weekly trivia game in the early evening. I managed to get in a bowl of cereal with a banana before the game, but saved the coffee till my return after the game, also catching up on a lot of my email and FB, including chat. Later in the evening I snacked on some triscuits and the rest of the guacamole, along with prune juice and spicy V8. I watched parts of the first preseason football game between the Ravens and the Redskins, won by Baltimore 23-3, and also the exciting 3-2 Nats win over the Marlins. I had a long, late conversation with Ray after midnight. I also had my usual water intake and vitamins and medicines that I take every day.

We now have cloudy skies, with temperatures dropping into the 60s and dew points rising a bit up into the mid 60s around 0705. On Friday and Saturday we will have partly to mostly cloudy skies with a 50 POP for showers/storms, and highs in the low 80s and lows in the 60s. Sunday looks to have similar temps with partly cloudy skies and now only a 10 POP for very isolated showers.

On Channel 4 radar at 0705 there are scattered light rain showers to my W and SW over parts of WV and VA which will develop during the daylight hours and move into our area later in the afternoon and evening.
