WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – THURSDAY NOVEMBER 4, 2021
Thursday was partly cloudy, dry and cool with much lighter winds than yesterday. I reached 50 for today’s high with dew points again in the 30s falling into the upper 20s at times. We peaked with our maximum temperature (50.1) of the day in the early mid afternoon while the low temperature in the mid 30s was reached about 2 hours before sunrise with scattered frost.
The peak wind gust for the day (11 MPH) was much lighter than yesterday, “peaking” in the early afternoon, veering over to a N direction from yesterday. Barometric pressures were highest in the early morning while the lowest was reached in the early evening.
Friday through Sunday should be partly to mostly sunny and dry with highs in the low-mid 50s and lows around freezing to the mid 30s. A gradual warmup should follow over the next few days thereafter with dry conditions continuing.

Currently at 0217 AM EDT Friday we have clear skies with a temperature of 35.9, barometer 30.29″ and steady, relative humidity 77%, dew point 29, winds NE @ 0-5 MPH. No rain has fallen since midnight into the tipping bucket VP2 gauge at the USG site across the street from me.
