WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – FRIDAY OCTOBER 29, 2021

My back pain improved today as I got a lot of good rest overnight aided by my first dose of Tylenol PM, which helps with pain and improved sleep. I did not need a lot
of medication today, though my activity was less than yesterday, only featuring a nice, long evening session with 2 of my apartment friends at the weekly rummikub game.

Friday was cloudy, rainy (particularly heavy in the mid-afternoon), with moist easterly breezes at times with cooler temperatures. I reached the upper 50s for today’s high with dew points staying in the 50s. We peaked with our max temperature (58.3) of the day in the very early morning at midnight while the low temperature in the mid 50s was reached just about 24 hours later, just prior to midnight. Coastal flooding was widespread along sections of the Chesapeake Bay and Potomac River nearby.

The peak wind gust for the day (26 MPH) was predictably fresh today, peaking mid-morning, veering around to an E direction in connection with our big rainstorm.
Barometric pressures were highest at the very beginning of the day while the lowest was reached mid-evening.

Saturday should be mostly cloudy and cool, with highs around 60 and lows around 50. Sunday and Monday should be partly cloudy with highs in the low 60s and lows in the
low-mid 40s. Cloudy to partly cloudy skies on Tuesday and Wednesday will feature the coolest temperatures of the season so far, with highs only in the low 50s and lows
dropping down to more November-like mid-upper 30s.
