My arthritis wrist discomfort problem was not much of an issue today but the back pain persisted at times in certain positions. I continued to treat it again with rest and a few doses of acetaminophen. I encountered discomfort at times during the day, especially when first getting up, which caused me problems on occasion.

Thursday was cloudy in the AM with fog, dense at times, warmer with partly to mostly sunny skies in the PM. I reached the mid 70s for today’s high with dew points holding in the upper 50s to mid 60s all day. We peaked with our max temperature (76.4) of the day in the later mid afternoon with the low temperature only down to the low 60s almost 3 hours before sunrise.

The peak wind gust for the day (16 MPH) was higher than yesterday, still light, “peaking” in the later morning, veering back over to an E direction. Barometric pressures were highest in the mid morning while the lowest was reached in the later afternoon.

Friday will be the warmest day of the week, with partly cloudy skies and highs in the lower mid 80s with lows generally in the 60s. Clouds, showers/possible storms likely on Saturday with highs in the mid 70s but lows coming down to the upper 40s late that should usher in a definitely welcome, more fall-like cooling trend on Sunday through Tuesday with highs in the low-mid 60s and lows in the mid-upper 40s under partly to mostly sunny skies.

Currently at 0206 AM EDT Friday we have clear skies, a temperature of 61.6, barometer 29.97″ and steady, relative humidity 92%, dew point 59, winds NW-N @ 0-5 MPH. No measurable rain has fallen since midnight into the tipping bucket VP2 gauge at the USG site across the street from me.
