WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – TUESDAY OCTOBER 12, 2021
My arthritis wrist discomfort problem lessened a bit more today but the occasional back pain persisted. I continued to treat it again (but a bit less rigorously) with
rest and a few doses of acetaminophen. I still encountered some discomfort at times during the day, so I will continue to keep this report somewhat shorter to ease the
discomfort from typing too much.
Tuesday was cloudy all day with some occasional light drizzle, still mild with similar statistics to the past 5 days for the other parameters. I reached the upper 60s for today’s high with dew points holding in the low-mid 60s all day. We peaked with our max temperature (69.7) of the day in the mid afternoon with the low temperature only down to the lower 60s about 1 1/2 hours before sunrise.
The peak wind gust for the day (13 MPH) was the same as yesterday, “peaking” in the late afternoon, veering over to a NW direction. Barometric pressures were highest
in the morning while the lowest was reached in the mid-afternoon.
Dense fog possible early Wednesday morning as air temps are sinking and dew points are rising to meet each other, so to speak. There will be a warmup the rest of the week with partly cloudy skies as max temps climb through the upper 70s on Wednesday and Thursday to the low-mid 80s on Friday, with low generally in the 60s. Clouds, showers likely on Saturday with highs in the lower 70s but lows coming down to the mid-upper 40s late that should usher in a definitely welcome cooling trend on Sunday with highs in the low 60s and lows in the mid 40s under partly to mostly sunny skies.
