WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – MONDAY OCTOBER 11, 2021

My arthritis wrist discomfort problem lessened a bit today but the occasional back pain persisted. I continued to treat it again (but a bit less rigorously) with rest and a few doses of acetaminophen. I still encountered some discomfort at times during the day, so I should continue to keep this report somewhat shorter to ease the discomfort from typing too much.

Monday was cloudy most all day with some occasional light drizzle, still mild with similar statistics to the past 4 days for the other parameters. I reached the upper 60s for today’s high with dew points holding in the upper 50s to lower mid 60s all day. We peaked with our max temperature (67.1) of the day in the later mid afternoon with the low temperature only down to the lower mid 60s right before sunrise.

The peak wind gust for the day (13 MPH) was lighter than yesterday, “peaking” in the early morning, maintaining an E direction from the past 2 days. Barometric pressures were highest mid morning while the lowest was reached in the very early overnight part of the morning.

Cloudy, dry skies on Tuesday with highs around 70 and lows around 60. A gradual warmup the rest of the week with partly cloudy skies as max temps climb through the 70s to max out in the mid 80s on Friday, with low generally in the 60s. Clouds, showers likely on Saturday with highs in the upper 70s but lows coming down to around 50 late that should usher in a definitely welcome cooling trend on Sunday and thereafter.
