WEST ROCKVILLE MARYLAND WEATHER UPDATE – THURSDAY OCTOBER 7, 2021
My carpal tunnel/wrist discomfort problem resurfaced today and I had to treat it once again with rest, voltaren and my wrist brace. I still encountered discomfort most all day, and it was a bit uncomfortable to compile this report tonight with all the typing that is necessary to complete it. If this problem persists tomorrow and/or into the weekend I may not be able to post my report in the coming days.
Thursday was mostly cloudy once again, with the exception of the early afternoon when the clouds partially then totally parted from our skies. All other times during the day and night were cloudy but as far as I know dry. I reached the lower mid-70s for today’s high with dew points holding in the low-mid 60s all day. We peaked with our max temperature (73.4) of the day in the later afternoon with the low temperature only down to the lower mid 60s about an hour before sunrise.
The peak wind gust for the day (10 MPH) was even lighter than yesterday, “peaking” in the early afternoon, veering around to a milder SW direction from yesterday. Barometric pressures were highest in the mid morning while the lowest was reached at the very end of the day just prior to midnight.
Highs on Friday should be in the mid-upper 70s with lows in the low 60s. Partly cloudy conditions should persist on Friday and dry. Saturday through Tuesday should be cloudy with rain chances on Sunday and Tuesday only at this point. Highs should be in the low-mid 70s with lows in the 60-62 range.
